By Car from France
Coming from France on the Autoroute (Motorway) A8, take the exit N° 50 Nice Centre , then Nice Ouest-Arenas, then Promenade des Anglais. Drive along Promenade des Anglais for 7kms until you come to the Port of Nice. At the Port of Nice, take the D6098 direction Villefranche/Beaulieu/Eze on the Basse Corniche/coastal road (10 kms of coastal road). Beaulieu-sur-Mer is located after Villefranche-sur-Mer, and the Hôtel Carlton is located close to and behind the Casino of Beaulieu.

Another option is to take the exit N° 56 Monaco on the A8 Motorway. After the tunnel and at the second traffic light, turn right and take the D37 direction "Cap d’Ail centre". Then on the Basse Corniche (the lower costal road) at Cap d’Ail roundabout, take the D6098 direction "Eze/Beaulieu-sur-Mer".

From Nice Côte d’Azur airport with a rented car, take the direction Nice Centre along the Promenade des Anglais... (Distance Nice airport-Beaulieu 17 km, see details above). Taxis are available in front of each of the two terminals and will take about 30 to 45 minutes depending of the traffic to reach Beaulieu-sur-mer at a cost of around 60/70 Euros based on daytime and week day tarifs.


By Bus/Train from Nice
You can also take the shuttle N° 99 from both airport terminals to Nice Ville train station (6 Euros/person). From the main train station there are regular TER trains BETWEEN 6h00 AND 22h30 at a price of Euro 2.40/person and takes approx. 10 minutes.
On leaving Beaulieu, train station turn left, cross the road and pass by the IBIS Style hotel on your right and the Police station on your left. Pass through 2 barriers and follow the road to the end then take a left where you will see the Hotel Carlton on the right-hand-side. (In front of Beaulieu train station you can pick up a taxi if available to the hotel for approx. Euros 10)

The second option is to take the N° 98 shuttle bus (6 Euros /person) from either airport terminal to Nice getting off at Promenade des Arts stop. From there, take the bus N° 81 to Beaulieu sur Mer, getting off at Baie des Fourmis stop (closest to hotel).

The third option is to take the N° 9/10 (which runs between 6h15 and 21h30) at the stop La Valliere/Promenade on the Promenade des Anglais opposite Terminal 1 (Euros 1.50/person). This bus will take you to Nice Port (approx. journey time 30mins). From there opposite the church you can catch the bus N° 100 or 81 to Beaulieu-sur-mer bus-stop Baie des Fourmis, using the same bus ticket, (running between 6:00 am to 8:15 pm). Journey time approx. 20 mins depending on traffic. On getting off the 100/81 bus turn right, go back to the school bus stop about 50 metres away, cross the road and go through the small tunnel taking a right to go up to the hotel (300 metres).


By Car from Italy
Coming from Italy on the Autoroute (Motorway) A8, take the exit N° 58 Roquebrune/Monaco. Then take the D51 direction Beausoleil/Monaco. On the Moyenne Corniche (Middle Corniche) take the D6007 direction Monaco/Nice/Cap d’Ail. After the gasoline station “Total” stay on the left and take the D37 Cap d’Ail Center. On the Basse Corniche, take the D6098 to Eze/Beaulieu-sur-Mer on your right at the roundabout (5kms).

You can also take the exit N° 49 Menton, cross the city to reach the coastal road and then follow the D6098 ex N98 to Roquebrune. Using this itinerary, you will cross Monaco, take the D6098 ex N 98 direction Nice Basse Corniche, lower coastal road to Cap d’Ail, Eze-bord-de-mer and finally Beaulieu-sur-mer.
